We have two jet skis for rent.
Our jet skis are SeaDoo GTI 130 models, maintained to the highest standards, and approved by Maritime NZ for safety.
Three people can ride on the jet ski. However, this is generally an adult and two small children. Three adults or two large adults can make the jet skis unstable, so some customers may be restricted to one passenger or even solo only.
Yes.
You need to be 18 or older.
No, a safety brief is given before the hire, covering basic maritime rules, safety equipment, and operation of the jet ski.
Yes, absolutely. Your safety is our utmost concern.
Yes, we have an inflatable 2-person biscuit, 3-person banana boat, 3 person seated inflatable, wakeboard and kneeboard available for hire.
Absolutely, there are stunning days to be out on the water during winter. Warmer clothing is needed, and wetsuits are available for hire.
No, fuel is extra.
Some customers will just potter around on the water or cruise to Waiheke and park up on a beach for an hour or 3 and use minimal fuel. Other customers will want to go all out all the time and burn through a lot of fuel. This creates a vast price difference, and our theory is why should those that use minimal fuel pay an inflated averaged price, so you pay for what you use.
This depends on the weather, how it’s ridden and the weight of the rider/passengers. On average it’s about $30 per hour for normal cruising.
Yes, you can swap around as many times and people as you like (any drivers must attend the safety brief).
Yes, the weather can significantly affect your jet ski ride. Ideal conditions for jet skiing include calm waters, clear skies, and mild temperatures. Strong winds can create choppy water conditions, making it difficult to navigate and control the jet ski. Heavy rainfall can reduce visibility and make the water surface more turbulent. It can also make the experience less enjoyable and more hazardous.
Light rain might not stop you from jet skiing; you may still be able to stay in the bay of Maraetai. However, if you want to venture further from the bay, the trip would need to be rescheduled, depending on the severity. We can’t compromise on your safety at any cost.
